The
brewery occupies outbuildings
at the rear, now re-roofed.
Brewing on a 3 barrel
plant from the Hesket Newmarket Brewery commenced in
May 2013, and due to be
celebrated with a First Beer Festival at the
pub in August 2013! The first brew was the eminently quaffable Stargazer at 5.1% which means that the Robin Hood can at last be listed as a LocAle Pub! Soon after came the amazingly tasty 3.2% Star Light, with a third beer made with local honey in the fermenter. |

Re-roofing was accomplished, using the sort of corrugated material that the caravan builders of East Yorkshire use for those chalets with tiny wheels that make them technically towable caravans. The little room in the corner at one time was thought a possible site for house a copper on wheels that can be trundled out into the open for boiling, rather like the one at Bob's Brewing. From the Web Album on the link provided below it will be noted that the copper has been accommodated in the main brewhouse. |
