In April 2011, premises were acquired by Revolutions Brewing Company at

Unit B7, Whitwood Enterprise Park, Speedwell Road, Whitwood, Castleford WF10 5PX tel: 01977 552649

Until new plant was installed and commissioned, brewing took place at Brass Monkey Brewery, Sowerby Bridge. Production is now starting at Whitwood, Revolutions beers therefore meet the requirements to be LocAle at all pubs and clubs in the Wakefield CAMRA area. In a 14 hour job the plant was commissioned on Thursday 7th June 2011. The first beer to be produced on the new plant was Clash London Porter. Brewing began on 20/07/2011.

	Somewhere close to the Royal Mail Sorting Office at Whitwood, and accessed from the road which runs at the side of the Rising Sun to the Bridge Inn, Revolutions Brewing have set up their brewery in part of one of these units. We've just caught brewer Andrew Helm on his way home.
	Wakefield CAMRA's first branch visit took place on Thursday 27 October 2011. Here's a Web Album from that very convivial visit. (Not many pictures got taken!)On the left is Events Organiser John Groves, then Mark Seaman and Andrew Helm from the brewery. The table is groaning with tasty snap, and one of the benefits of such roomy premises: the dray can be parked and loaded inside.
