Getting around...

The District has good rail and fairly good bus services, even
in the evenings, so nobody has to risk their licence or miss the fun. There are
some good fare deals from the major bus operator Arriva as well as the
various cards from Metro. Latest buses between the major towns usually
leave between 2230 and 2300. Our links page will
take you to the Passenger Transport Authority's site.
You can e-mail
us for a copy of our Calder & Hebble Ale Trail which uses the 278
Wakefield - Halifax bus service. (.pdf file approx. 600kb)
