Different sources often quote different percentages of alcohol for foreign beers, so we are dependent, in the end, on the abv stated on the bottle labels when the beers are actually delivered. Bottles come in capacities varying from 25 to 50 centilitres, so you may like to share a big one. Some English beers on the bottled beer stand may be bottle-conditioned beers which meet CAMRA's criteria for Real Ale in a Bottle. This listing is subject to availability. Where beers are likely to be sold in non-specialist outlets, a British brewer may take the decision to bottle only brewery-conditioned.
