The tower brewing kit was acquired from John O'Gaunt Brewery near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. It was installed much as it was before although the tiltable mash tun is Barrie's own modification.

With the  concentration of chemical industries around Ellesmere Port it's easy to pick up storage vessels. These are intended to be brought into use as conditioning tanks.
