Branch meetings are usually held on the 1st Thursday of each month, and we try to move the venue about across the district so there are not too many forgotten corners, but obviously we need to use a pub or club where there is a separate room or area where we can hear ourselves. These are business meetings, but the business is mostly our consuming passion for ale and pubs. Later in each month, usually the 3rd Tuesday there's a Committee Meeting but any member is welcome to come along. Times and venues appear in the second section of What's Brewing, in our own O-K from Ossett to Knottingley   magazine, and in the Branch Diary on this website. In the months leading up to the Beer Festival additional meetings are held, usually on a Sunday lunchtime at Wakefield Labour Club, for planning the event, and anyone who wants to get involved is welcome to come along. The Annual General Meeting is usually the 2nd Tuesday in March.

In addition meetings are held at pubs receiving Pub of the Season and Pub of the Year awards. At these there are usually refreshments laid on.
